Obviously concerned, but not for the reasons you might think. I have actually partly answered your question here: https://substack.com/@peterwilliamsonofficial/note/c-306150969?r=5mipe0 I think calling it an invasion is unhelpful rhetoric, certainly at this moment in time. If you follow the pattern, everything seems to indicate that this was coordinated in the shadows, targeting migrants with disinformation on social media. For what purpose and by whom? Those are the questions we need to be asking. I'm concerned about the safety of women and girls in Ceuta, just as I am concerned about the safety of women and girls anywhere. In the vast majority of cases the perpetrators of sexual abuse against women and girls (which I think is what you are getting at here) is men. We don't need to bring race into the equation. I don't think people who are frightened of it happening here are far right and fascist no. People who hate on people for nothing but the colour of their skin are far right and fascist. But frightened is different and in lots of cases can be resolved by just speaking with each other. I've said before, I've seen how organised crime gangs are putting immigrants up in houses and coercing them into doing dodgy shit. Maybe the Government are aware, maybe they're not. That's for you to judge. My honest view? The Government should be coercing the bad guys into being less bad. Immigration has been weaponised by bad actors - we need to treat the cause not the symptoms. Honestly, good question and thanks for sending it in.
